You do not need to file a claim. According to the parameters of you contract, you will automatically receive payment. At Centinel your protection payment is based on whether you experience the covered loss, not on how much damage you experienced. Once the payment is in your account you can use it however you’d like, whether that is continuing to pay your employees for lost wages, re-stocking inventory, disaster cleanup, or simply paying the bills to keep the doors open in the future.
